This connector app provides connectivity between Discontinued Master Data and Advanced Budgeting and Forecasting apps and adds a new toggle field to filter out discontinued records such as Items, Vendors, Customers, or Locations when viewing the Sales or Purchase Budget Overview pages in Business Central.

Prerequisites

Both Discontinued Master Data and Advanced Budgeting and Forecasting apps must be installed in your Business Central tenant.

A new toggle field has been added to the Sales and Purchase Budget card and list pages in Business Central.

Enabling this field will include all discontinued master data records in the overview matrix when a user opens the Budget Overview page.

Item 1972-S, which is discontinued, will still be included the dataset for budgeting.

Alternatively, all discontinued master records will be filtered out in the matrix if this toggle field is disabled.

The discontinued Item 1972-S no longer appears in the matrix.

  • Customers
  • Vendors
  • Locations
