Field Security Plus settings can be exported and imported via an XML file. This is useful for moving Field Security Plus settings between different instances of Business Central.

Note: Field Security Plus configuration applies to all companies within an instance of Business Central, so the Import/Export feature this is intended for cross-database setup only, i.e. Sandbox to Production.

Note: Any signed-in users need to sign out to have the changes take effect.

1. Locate and open the Field Security Setup page via search.
2. Under Setup, click the Tables button.
3. Under Setup, Click Import Setup (A) or Export Setup (B).
