Back Order Management keeps track of the status between sales/transfer orders and related inventory picks. This is shown via the Pick Status field on order documents, and Fulfilment Status field on inventory pick documents.
The Pick Status field on sales/transfer orders specifies if the stock for this document are fully or partially ready to be picked on related inventory picks.
The Fulfilment Status field on inventory picks specifies if the stock picked by this document partially or completely fulfils the stocked requested by the source document.
Additionally on the inventory pick the Ready to Pick and Shipping Advice fields lets you know if the document can be picked at this time, this is useful when using reserving partial inventory for orders with shipping advice complete.
