Vytelle is a livestock company accelerating genetic progress in cattle through advanced reproduction technologies and data analytics. Their technology enables producers to achieve generations of genetic improvement in just a few years, supporting sustainable meat and milk production for future generations.
With operations across 24 countries and experience working with more than 100 cattle breeds, Vytelle requires a central system capable of supporting global growth. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central serves as their ERP, managing finance, invoicing, and international payments, as well as customer records and order fulfilment.
A connected platform for global genetic advancement
Vytelle’s core offerings, SENSE and ADVANCE, work together to improve herd performance. SENSE captures feed intake and weight data with minimal contact, automatically integrating information into a connected system. ADVANCE uses in vitro fertilisation (IVF) to multiply genetics from top-performing cattle, enabling faster herd improvement and greater reproductive efficiency.
Vytelle’s custom operating system, Vytelle.io, is fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, connecting their services into one central environment. Vytelle.io track their customers services, from the collection of field materials right to embryo development. Then provides the customer with the ability to track invoices and payment.
The need for a modern customer payment experience
As a global business with entities in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the US, Vytelle faced growing complexity in managing accounts receivable across currencies, and local banking systems. The company maintains many bank accounts and processed transactions in four currencies, which created administrative challenges.
Chasing transactional payments from customers became time-consuming and costly for the finance team as the business continued to grow. Traditional methods like cheques and manual wire transfers were still common in some regions, contributing to extended Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and delayed cash flow.
Recognising the need to offer a more efficient and scalable payment process, Vytelle set out to modernise its customer payment experience.
The solution: Pay-It with Stripe
After exploring different solutions, Vytelle decided to implement Pay-It with Stripe from Fenwick Apps to introduce a more flexible and customer-friendly payment experience within Dynamics 365 Business Central. The solution enables the team to accept credit card and online payments directly in Business Central, while maintaining full control of billing and transaction records in one system.
By automatically generating secure payment links on invoices, Pay-It with Stripe gives Vytelle’s customers convenient ways to pay, either via email or through their Vytelle.AI portal. This reduces reliance on manual processing and offered customers a faster and more familiar online payment experience.
The solution also introduced greater payment flexibility across Vytelle’s global operations. The team can process in-person transactions using a POS option and manage saved payment methods directly in Business Central, allowing them to accommodate different customer preferences across regions.
The results: Faster payments and stronger cash flow
Pay-It with Stripe has significantly improved Vytelle’s payment processes and cash flow performance. Online payment adoption has accelerated. These improvements have reduced administrative effort, improved cash position visibility across entities, and allowed Vytelle to focus on growth rather than manual payment follow-up.
Despite the challenges of working across time zones, the onboarding process was straightforward and well supported. Nic from the Fenwick Apps team provided responsive, hands-on assistance, resolved setup issues promptly, and ensured the app met Vytelle’s operational needs.

Looking forward
With Pay-It with Stripe now embedded in Dynamics 365 Business Central, Vytelle has transformed its customer payment experience and reduced administrative overhead across international entities. Faster payment turnaround, improved cash flow visibility, and a scalable invoicing process now support the company’s continued global expansion.
Vytelle plans to extend Pay-It with Stripe to additional regions and eliminate remaining legacy payment methods over time, creating an integrated and efficient approach to accounts receivable. The company is also exploring future integrations to connect its broader operational systems with Business Central and Vytelle.io, maintaining its focus on innovation and operational excellence.
