In standard Business Central you can set up sales prices for each item. Item Price/Cost Group allows you to configure sales prices for Item Price Groups and Resources. This means you can maintain sales prices at a group level rather than for individual items.

To assign a Item Price/Cost group to an item

  1. Search for and open the Item Card for an item.
  2. Navigate to the Prices & Sales tab.
  3. Specify a Item Price/Cost Group in the Item Price/Cost group field.

Item Price/Cost Groups can be added and managed on the Item Price/Cost Groups page.
