Block Negative Inventory is a Fenwick solution developed for Microsoft Dynamics NAV to prevent inventory quantities from falling below zero during transaction processing. The solution provides additional controls to help organisations maintain accurate inventory records and reduce stock discrepancies.
Discontinuation of Block Negative Inventory
As of 2018, Block Negative Inventory has been discontinued as Microsoft has introduced standard inventory controls capable of managing negative inventory scenarios (“Prevent Negative Inventory”) within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
You can utilise these standard inventory management and inventory controls available within Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage and prevent negative inventory transactions.
