I have been implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV at Fenwick Software for more than ten years and despite my obvious bias, I think it is a well designed and functionally rich product. However, over the years we have constantly received requests from clients for small additions that will make their businesses more efficient and competitive.

Many of these requests have their origin in unique Australian requirements and common ways of doing business. We decided to standardise and package this functionality then offer these additional modules at a cost effective price – ‘Fenwick Gold‘ was struck.

Our first step was to take a lot of minor “must have” enhancements and roll them into a Foundation module. Some highlights include: more attractive looking documents (Invoice, Statement, Purchase Order etc.); simpler restriction control for the Chart Of Accounts; streamlined Bank Reconciliation and BAS processing; a link to online Google Maps; a One Click Test Company refresh; and session timeout limits.

Built on the Foundation layer are around 30 additional modules designed to add further efficiency to your business. Over the coming year I will write a series of blog articles about many of the Fenwick Gold add-on modules, showing you how they add a touch of Gold to Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
