Items can be packed automatically into a predefined Package Unit of Measure and Quantity per Package for convenience. The Pack-It action on shipping document headers allow you to do this in one click.
Creating Package Unit of Measures
The Package Unit of Measure page defines the description and dimensions of a package. You can define the Weight, Length, Width, Height, Cubage, and Pallet Spaces for each Package Unit of Measure. Define a list of package types to pack items in an efficient and streamlined manner.
Link your Package Unit of Measures directly to your Ship-It provider to allows for accurate calculations of shipping costs.
Item Setup for Automatic Packing
To setup an item to allow for automatic packing, you must:
- Locate and open the Item you wish to setup.
- Specify the Package Unit of Measure and Qty. per Package Unit of Measure.
