Fenwick Software was founded in Melbourne in 1976, with a focus on building custom systems for Australian businesses. By the late 1990s, we shifted towards packaged software, beginning a long partnership with Navision, the system that would later become Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Over the past 25 years, Business Central has become the heart of our business, supported today by a team of more than 60 consultants and developers across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
As our consultancy team implemented Business Central for clients, we often found ourselves solving the same problems repeatedly. Instead of creating one-off customisations, we began developing standardised solutions that could be reused. In 2011, this effort became Fenwick Gold, a collection of granules that enhanced Microsoft Dynamics NAV and simplified project delivery for our clients.
When Microsoft introduced Business Central online in 2018, we saw the opportunity to expand these solutions globally. Fenwick Gold was reimagined as individual apps, published on Microsoft AppSource, making our IP available to businesses and partners worldwide.
What started as 30 modules has grown into a portfolio of more than 70 apps and 8 packs, along with over 100 listings on AppSource. These apps extend the capabilities of Dynamics 365 Business Central, providing solutions for industries, regions, and use cases across the globe.
With a growing international presence, Fenwick Apps is now one of the top two distributors of Business Central apps worldwide. Through our partner program, we equip VARs and ISVs worldwide with the tools and expertise to deliver ready-made solutions confidently, simplifying implementation and reducing the need to source products from multiple providers.
